Precision Wire Rings — Made to Your Specification
Jump rings, filter rings, securing rings, chainmaille rings. Same product, different industries. All requiring the same things: consistent inside diameter, clean flush-cut ends, correct wire gauge, right material.
Goyal Metal winds and cuts precision wire rings in GI, hard-bright, bare copper and anodised coloured aluminium wire on calibrated mandrels across a range of inside diameters from 3 mm to 50 mm. Rings are supplied open (cut with a small gap — the standard jump ring form for chainmaille and jewellery) or closed (rings welded or soldered shut for permanent assembly applications).
End quality is our differentiator. Flush-cut ends — not diagonal, not rough — mean rings used in jewellery close without a visible gap, and rings used in industrial assemblies seat correctly without stress concentrations. We count to order and pack for direct use.
Applications
Material Options & Quality
For chainmaille makers — available across our full anodised colour range (20+ colours). Aspect ratio calculated on request. Lightweight, colour-fast, non-toxic. Saw-cut finish for fine jewellery grades available to order.
For industrial buyers — GI and HB rings in high volumes for filter elements, gaskets, securing rings and retention hardware. Mill certificates available on request.
Our standard cut produces flat, flush ends — no diagonal snips, no rough edges. Rings close without visible gaps in jewellery. Rings seat correctly without stress raisers in industrial assemblies.
Every order counted to your specification — 100, 500, 1000, 5000 or by weight. Packed for direct use. No recounting, no shortfall, no waste.
Frequently Asked Questions · Wire Ring Making Service
What types of rings do you make — open or closed?
Both. Open rings (standard jump rings — the wire is cut with a small gap, perfect for chainmaille, jewellery and assembly) and closed rings (welded or soldered shut for permanent installation in filtration, securing and hardware applications). Specify at the time of ordering.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Minimum order is 500 rings per size and material combination. For smaller quantities in anodised aluminium, check our retail range or contact us for sample packs.
What inside diameters can you produce?
We wind rings on calibrated mandrels from 3 mm ID up to 50 mm ID. Custom inside diameters within this range can be specified in 0.5 mm increments. For diameters outside this range, please contact us to discuss feasibility.
What materials are available for wire rings?
We make rings in GI wire (galvanised iron), HB wire (hard bright), bare copper, bare aluminium and anodised coloured aluminium wire (20+ colours). Each material has different winding characteristics and cut quality — we select the correct tooling per material for optimal results.
What is the lead time for a wire ring order?
Standard lead time is 5–7 working days from order confirmation. Larger volumes or custom anodised colours may require additional time. Contact us with your specification for an accurate delivery date.
